1.Get out there
If you want to see an increase in sells, then you will have to make it known that your shop exist. Even if you are using a platform like Poshmark or Etsy where there is already a pretty large audience you will have to do things to make your listings stand out and get noticed. Some things to do are:

- Start social media websites specifically for your resale business – you can start an Instagram, TikTok or Facebook account it doesn’t matter. For sales we personally Facebook at the moment since the site is set up for live shops
- Tell your friends and family – announce to your friends and family that you have a store and ask them to share it!

2. Paid advertisement
Most platforms will have paid ads integrated into their tools for sellers to use, so use them. You don’t have to spend a ton of money and while it may seem counter intuitive the objective is to get your items seen, first and most. So, if your items are priced correctly and you the ads bring in more buyers it could definitely be worth it!
3. Integrate SEO
Have you ever noticed that when you’re searching for an item to purchase on the internet your search results will bring up items from eBay, Etsy, and Poshmark? This is because these listings have the keywords necessary to show up in the searches! So, make sure you are using your keywords when setting up your listings, regardless of the platform.
4. Use ISO
If you are selling on Poshmark a great way to find out what people want is to type in ISO in the search bar. These are things people are in search of, and if you have something similar you can let them know to check out your listing
5. Renew your listings
Sometimes buyers get tired of the the same old same old listings, so renew yours. Make sure that when you’re taking photos of your items you have two or three cover shots to choose from so that you can switch it up from time to time
6. Know what buyers want
