1. Be active on the platform
Scratch that, be extremely active on the platform!
Poshmark isn’t like most resale platforms you need to be extremely active to move up in the ranks.
This means sharing your items, sharing other people’s items, liking items (although I would only do this if you really like it enough to purchase), and participating in parties.
This not only helps your ranking but it helps to get your items viewed by more people, which hopefully translates to more sales for you.

2. Get your items out on time
Try to get your items out within 1-2 days if possible, it can be difficult to do at times and even Poshmark recognizes that only half of the sellers on the platform do so.
This does make a difference if you are concerned about keeping your Posh Ambassador status.
You can check your Ambassador status and other relevant ranking statistics under ‘My Posh Stats’
3. Don’t have too many cancelations
If you are cross-listing on multiple platforms and forget to take something down that you sold and someone purchases it this can cost you big time if they decide to cancel it.
The absolute best thing you can do is stay on top of your listing and if you forget to make a listing ‘not available’ and someone purchases it make sure you cancel it yourself before the buyer does.
4. Communicate with buyers
If you notice something wrong with an item or it’s going to be a couple of days later before you can ship it out, communicate this with the buyer.
You can also let them know when you shipped the item out and when they can expect it just as a courtesy.
There was a time when the only communication function that the Poshmark app had was via the comment section but now you can send a direct message to your buyers, so take advantage of it!
5. Use the tools available
There are now plenty of tools available on the Poshmark app that can make sending offers easier.
Under the ‘My Shoppers‘ section of the app you can send bulk bundle offers which makes life so much easier! You can also view past buyers and interact with them so that you can hopefully get a return customer.

6. Keep an eye on your stats
Under the ‘My Seller Tools’ and ‘My closet insights’ you can get a view of what items sell the best for you so you know what may work in the future.
This is a great tool to have as it shows you what your customers are looking for.
