Does becoming a Poshmark Ambassador increase your sales?

No, the general consensus is that becoming a Poshmark Ambassador does not increase your sales.

I came to this conclusion based on a poll of over 100 Poshers where the majority of respondents stated it did little to increase their sales. Sixteen saw an increase in sales and 8% actually noticed a decrease.

Granted these numbers could definitely be skewed by different variants such as the number of items posted per day, amount of sharing and interaction on the platform or price per item.

But the vast majority of Poshers were fairly adamant that becoming Posh Ambassador did little to nothing for their sales.

What is the Poshmark Ambassador program?

The Posh Ambassador program (formerly known as Suggested User Status) began in 2017. It was created for Poshers who represent the community well by being active regularly, adhering to the guidelines and providing excellent customer service.

How do I become a Posh Ambassador?

The criteria for becoming a Poshmark Ambassador are as follows

4 love notes given
have an average shipping time of less than three days
have an average purchase rating of greater than 4.5 stars
have at least 50 available listings
have at least 15 sales
share 50 new Poshers items
have a minimum of 5,000 self-shares
have a minimum of 5,000 community shares

Why would I want to become an ambassador?

Increased visibility

This is the main reason most Poshers want to attain the Ambassador status. If nothing else, you will gain a tremendous amount of followers. This is mainly because you will now be in the ‘connect with Posh Ambassadors’ window when people search for others to follow.

You also get recommended to new Poshers as someone to follow.
